Can't be a "Pilot Watch" unless the minute hand tip penetrates the chapter ring.

Its a one-off. That's something special in itself.
What you see as imperfections, are valuable character. If everything was perfect, it would look like a bought product, and a little bland for it. Its like in people, their idiosyncrasies are what make them, them (as it were).

Thanks everybody for the encouragement. As I wrote this watch was designed for my personal use. However, I got so many requests that I'm taking into consideration to manufacture a small lot (100 pcs?). As soon as the "hardware" will be 100% defined, I'll make a cost analysis.
I also wonder which platform (Ebay, FB, Kickstarter, website...) is the best tool for marketing this watch.

do kickstarter. but youll need a compelling video. This is going to be a hit there. So many lame china made rebranded watch projects on KS that I would love to see something new and something with some actual thought put into it!

The marloe Cherwell watch is one to model what they did on KS. Youll probably have to send some to hodinkee or other watch sites for review too to get the word out BEFORE the KS launched

Love the watch. I'm in for sure if you ever decide to do a production run.

If you only do a small run of ~100 pieces, I would think you'd be able to get deposits for the entire run just by launching it on WUS? (in the appropriate forum, of course)
