Love the deeper etching on the case back, and the airfoil on the crown.

That airfoil is especially a touch of genius... subtle, graphic, iconic and totally in keeping with the watch.

    Damn. Looks good!

When are you going to start selling them?

I like it. But I really like the monotone of the original.

I wish there was a highly accurate version of the Eta 251.264. Having minutes/seconds counting on the main dial is the way to go, just need one subdial for hours, GMT hand and countdown bezel. That'd be perfect for me. I guess that's why I have the Hamilton Flight timer. Still longing for that main-dial chronometer function though.

Is this the start of packaging design?

Yes! I went to the airport, one of my favorite inspiration point, and had a chat with an old time friend, an A&P mechanic, about the package. I told him that I was looking around the workshop to find out an idea for a cheap but iconic "aviation" package . He disappeared for a while and when back he showed me a still sealed vintage aircraft spark plug...."You should do something like this! And the labels must look like Art Déco"

That's F...n. Champion. Bravo that marketing guru.

Whilst us dreams are at it (not enough coffee for reality kick in yet) you could even have you already famous loop as an opening mechanism to pop tops of.
