    Hello gents,

quick question…, I recently purchased a Alpinerx and I’m having to calibrate it every four days otherwise the time is way off. Are you guys having a similar issue?

    Hey Millon,
I have only calibrated it once when I set up the app. Have not had to do it again at all... about 4 weeks ago. I do however, do sync it with the phone regularly.

What happens when you just let the watch run? or better asked.. why are you having to re calibrate again? It should not need to callibrate or resync... as it is working as a normal quartz watch at that moment.

    Jefe...no es un Submarino Marinela..

This is more of a Field Watch than anything else. Not sure why the Sub reference.

Someone asked in another thread about the barometer.. and today I actually calibrated the compass and the altitude to conduct a test. I do not know if there is a barometer sensor inside the piece, or it is just pulling information from a weather source.

The altimeter, temperature and UV sensors seem to be working correctly. I actually never did calibrate the sensors when I acquired the piece; I only did the hands. So, I am going to be conducting a test of functions without the bluetooth to see if I notice barometric pressure changes over time without sync'n the watch.

Have this watch as well picked up from the KS campaign. Things I really love about are the case, silicone strap and the clasp. The watch has been accurate enough for me. I really don't use the other features so I'm not sure about how often I needed to calibrate the sensors etc. The app has improved over time, but what this watch really needs is to be able to function on its own. They now allow you to adjust the timer on the watch, they just need the ability to set the other features on it. But not sure if this is more the movement inside it or not. Either way I am letting this go soon, I just don't utilize it as much as I thought I would. Smart watch wise if they made the bezel do something or the watch buttons it would have been much more useful to me. Anyways still a really nice looking watch and extremely comfortable! Hope everyone is enjoying theirs I know I did.
