Thoughts on the size of my new Apple watch?

So because I have ~6.5" wrists and I felt confident that the 38mm option would be the one for me and jumped on a good deal online. Now I'm not so sure. Please let me know if you think I should jump to the 42mm. I'm leaning that way but still torn...

I like it. I find 42mm squares to look oversized on me at 6.75".

Ended up going with the 42mm and glad I did. Fits well and really doesn't wear much bigger. No lugs helps.

38mm would've been fine, but the fact that you doubted it meant that you wouldn't have been happy anyway. Enjoy the 42.

(I would've gotten the 38 myself if my wife hadn't said, "Nope, too small!")

I think that the rectangle shape negates the lack of lugs.

Anyways, IIRC, 42mm is by far the more popular size, even with people who have smaller wrists. Apparently, people like having a bigger screen. I agree; I don’t rec the 38mm to anyone unless you have very slender fingers.

Yea, the 38mm really did seem a bit toy-like to me. And since the idea is to be able to read whats on the watch well the 42mm also helps with that a bit.

I have a bigger wrist than you and I prefer the 38mm. I think the 42mm looks too much like tech and not enough like an actual watch.

42 all day. I have an even smaller wrist, and I'm looking at getting a 42. As long as it doesn't become cumbersome and easily scratched, you should be fine. A friend had a 42mm that was too big for her and she scratched the glass face in the first week of ownership.
Too many watches. It's an addiction.
