Iíve wanted a world timer with a date and this is the first to actually strike my fancy. Itís a beautiful watch. It reminds me of my brown hemp Tilley hat with scars from three continents in that the watch is a tool that will develop its own character. I liked the leather of the bundt but removed the bundt part. A bit of a pain to set the date the first time. The globes are hard to read so I pulled out a loupe to teach myself how to learn how to use the world timer function at a glance. Iím not sure if I would find a traditional world timer with labeled major cities more useful than the lat/long lines here. The globe detail is amazing enough that I had fun playing name-that-island chain and had to stop when I pulled the loupe back out to figure out if there was enough separation in the Strait of Malacca. So it didnít take me long to learn to use the globes.
I got a good deal and it took a source a week and a half to track one down (I donít know if Iím allowed to name him so Iíll leave him unattributed)
