    Bronze 1858 Geosphere

Iíve wanted a world timer with a date and this is the first to actually strike my fancy. Itís a beautiful watch. It reminds me of my brown hemp Tilley hat with scars from three continents in that the watch is a tool that will develop its own character. I liked the leather of the bundt but removed the bundt part. A bit of a pain to set the date the first time. The globes are hard to read so I pulled out a loupe to teach myself how to learn how to use the world timer function at a glance. Iím not sure if I would find a traditional world timer with labeled major cities more useful than the lat/long lines here. The globe detail is amazing enough that I had fun playing name-that-island chain and had to stop when I pulled the loupe back out to figure out if there was enough separation in the Strait of Malacca. So it didnít take me long to learn to use the globes.
I got a good deal and it took a source a week and a half to track one down (I donít know if Iím allowed to name him so Iíll leave him unattributed)

    Here are a few pics

I love it and it's been on my radar since they came out. I believe, I will eventually end up with one... perhaps, when you decide to let yours go??

    Congrats!

Stunning watch, I prefer on the normal strap as it lets you really see the gorgeous piece. Enjoy it!

I just picked up a Geosphere in Bronze. Great watch however I have noticed that the movement seems to have a fairly loud rattle type noise. Have any others experienced this? It seems to be keeping time properly. Thanks

That is unacceptable for a watch of this calibre... take/send it back!

Yup, I have the stainless model and without a second hand how can you tell that it has started after giving it an initial wind? I have to hold it up to my ear to hear if it's running or not.

I agree with the OP that it's not hard to read the globes once you figure out how the time zones are numbered. I certainly prefer this to just a list of different city names, as in a traditional world timer.

Great looking world timer watch. Congrats on your purchase. I think the Geosphere is a great contrast to having a world timer with all the writing around the edges.
