    Helping a friend - Calibre: MB 25.01

    Montblanc forum,

My friend just purchased a Star 4810. He was asking me about a winder which lead to a discussion about movements. I'm searching for data on the Calibre: MB 25.01. If I had to guess, I would guess ETA base. Quick Google search did not help.

    Thanks!

Continued research leads me to believe that the MB movements are in-house. Is this true for all MB models? Why is it so hard to find info on MB movements, other than what is available on the MB website?

    Thanks!

    Mannal

None of the Star models have in-house movements. Montblanc Villeret, Nicolas Rieussec, and some TimeWalkers have in-house movements. Most likely ETA or Sellita depending on the age of the watch.
