    Mont Blanc Movements

    Hi
I have just bought a pre owned "Mont Blanc" however when i got the back off it has an ISA8161 movement in. This looks a bit cheap to me but i dont know. Do Mont Blanc use these movememnts in their quartz watches? It looks like quite an old watch and i have not found any photos of it on the internet.

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Thanks

Can you post a picture of the watch?

I'm not familiar with their quartz movements (re: at all) but I believe they would have been using ETA, or at the very least Ronda movements. I've never even heard of ISA, are they a subbrand of Ronda or perhaps ETA?

    Hello all,

ISA Swiss is a major quartz movement supplier - we talk here about several ten millions of movement per years.

    ISASWISS / Home

I visited them a few months ago and they were not supplying MB anymore, as far as I know. Yes, your watch is quite old but still, ISA quartz modules are good. They tend to diversify their offer nowadays, from watches to healthcare, for instance.

    Hope this helps,

    Olivier
