Montblanc Timewalker model 9668 vs 7069 what are the differances?

So I noticed today that my watch is a Montblanc Timewalker model 7069. But the box says 9668? I'm thinking since I'm the second owner someone pulled a fast one on me with the box not being for my watch. Does anyone know the differences between the 9668 and 7069? When Googled images, they look Identical? Maybe manufacture dates? My best guess so far is that 7069 is the swiss movement? From what I can see the 9668 is stamped 7069 on the back?

Many thanks for Any help in advance.

Can you post what the box looks like? If anything, I think the 9668 number is actually older? Because that certainly looks to be a pretty old model of packaging (like mid to late 2000s). I think they then updated the packaging around 2010 and then again by 2013.

Actually, just noticed that the reason why you're referencing 7069, is because it's on the case. Some watch companies (if not all, but I don't want to overstate) will have an Identification number but also a case number. In this case, 7069 is the case number, and the ident seems like 9668.

Mine has 7187 on the case, but the model/ident number is 105805.
