Not even the AD could identify this Montblanc. Can you?

I stumbled upon this gem of a watch yesterday and asked the AD about other dial colors. "That's strange," he said, "this watch isn't in any of our catalogues nor is it online. Wish I could help."

I have tried Googling the reference number and numerous variations on "Montblanc Heritage Chronometrie Day Date" and have so far turned up nothing. Get to work, gumshoes! :)

How could an Authorised Dealer sell a Watch that they have got no record of?

That model does not look familiar to me.

Misprint on tag resulting in inability to find correct model?

    Could it be a fake?

Do not think it is a fake. The model is the Montblanc catalogue...

You should probably pop in a BTQ. ADs are often not so well informed.

Looking at pictures of montblanc chronometrie the other day on instagram I saw this watch on someone’s wrist
I believe I read it’s a new model coming out
Spent some time looking for more details or more picture but nothing
I can’t even find that pic anymore

It's weird I can't find it anywhere online, even tried searching for the 118225 model number in the pic.

It could be using the same MB 24.18 movement as the Montblanc 4810 Day Date.

It's July, and most new watches become available come August/September. Is it possible it's an unreleased model that someone accidentally released to the show room floor?
