    Request help with WorldTimer purchase

I am considering getting a Worldtimer watch for my upcoming birthday. I travel moderately; so this is less about truly needing such a watch; but I like the complication and many of the dials are beautiful - and different. I suspect that others on the forum will get that. Also, I want something I can wear with a suit to the office (in rotation with about 5 other watches).

I love the Vacheron Constantin Patrimony, but at approx $36K (grey market); definitely out of my price range.

Have therefore narrowed down to two: the JLC Geophysics Universal Time and the Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum, both in stainless steel. I tend to prefer the look of the JLC, which I also see as having history that Mountblanc lacks. And I suspect that long term, the JLC will hold its value better. On the other hand, at grey market prices, I see the Mountblanc selling for approx $3100 and the JLC for 4x that amount; and the difference is not inconsequential. And Montblanc is getting some real traction in the market.

Appreciate any help that those of you with more knowledge and experience can offer. I am really torn.

On a side note, my wife thinks the Orbis looks to thick. My sense is that most Worldtimers are on the thick side; so it goes with the territory. Is the MB thicker than most?

would definitely get the Orbis Terrarum myself. consider this: the only other world time watch with a convenient (really no-brainer)pusher-operated timezone changer is the iconic Patek Philippe PP5110/PP5130/PP5230(new). This series of PP watches, you can barely smell them at 40k (2nd hand, good condition at best).

I have an Orient World Time I'm currently very proud of. The next piece will be the MB OT. I've tried it on at the boutique, and yes, it's on the thicker side, though at 12mm, its boxy edge amplifies the thickness (not very smart design at that). Either that, or you might probably want to wait for the new 4810 Orbis Terrarum, bigger at 43mm, but the rounded profile may just make it look less thick than the Heritage version.

My Orient CEY04002B Panda World Time (A steal at the price I paid for the full functionality of a world time with changeable city position; took the shot at Japan's Bamboo Grove (Arashiyama, Kyoto), pun intended ;) )

The MB OT tried at the boutique. A beauty, which I'm aiming to get by end of the year (fingers crossed).

A friend's Patek PP5110 World Time, of which I had the honor to try on and play around with (including this on-wrist shot; don't mean to brag, but it's quite a big deal to me to get in metal with my grail watch. I literally jumped and screamed like a little girl when I handled it, lol. Best day of my watch addiction life so far! :D )

I tried the MB but ultimately went with the B&M due to much better legibility and a 'cleaner' look:
