Thinking about getting: TimeWalker Dual Carbon Chronograph

    Hi all,

I'm thinking about purchasing the TimeWalker Dual Carbon Chronograph. In fact I've been thinking about getting a TimeWalker for awhile now. Two years ago my gate at O'Hare airport was right next to the Montblanc airport boutique and I was very taken by the TimeWalkers when I saw them and tried them on in person. However at the time, I was already set on buying the IWC Portuguese Chronograph. But it took me quite a bit of effort to not just buy a TimeWalker on the spot. What are your thoughts on this model? For ~$7600 USD are there other watches and other brands I should be considering?

I will say, I was considering getting a Nicolas Rieussec because of its cool concept and design as well as the in-house movement but it shares the same case design as the Star line (I currently own a Star Chronograph) and I feel the case is too formal and the lugs jut out too much.

At >$7000 I am looking at the Timewalker Twinfly all day long.

If you are in the right place at the right time, you may be able to put your hands on the Titanium version (all black) IVO the $8k mark.

Fair point, but I'm a sucker for the colour scheme. The TwinFly and the TwinFly Greytech are nice, but I'm indifferent between in-house vs. ETA movements.
