I noticed last year some marks inside the glass on my watch and after advice here I was all set to send it back to MB, first MB dealer was happy to do this but, it was going to charge £50.00 because I hadn’t bought it from them, I then contacted one of the boutiques and was told if I sent it to them they would take care of the deal, approx £8.00 postage, held off as it got near Christmas and didn’t like the idea of it being in the mail at a busy time. Fast forward to now and since I was going to be in Edinburgh over the weekend I took the watch and a copy of the warranty card with me, popped in to a dealer and watch accepted to be returned to MB for repair at no charge, strange since this was a branch of the firm that had quoted me £50 initially. Company policy eh! Worth checking around if you need work.
