Such procedure is made possible by the dial with turning bezel, adjustable according to the hour, in order to indicate the North and, with the stellar map on the back case, to recognize the pole star or south cross.


The particular construction of the case, in titanium with through screws, guarantees lightness and resistance both against shocks as well as magnetic fields, which could reduce the precision of the
watch.

The turning bezel is adjustable through the use of a dedicated crown. The hour regulating crown, instead, is placed on the left side of the case at 9h. The watch is therefore a mancino (left-handed). This unique design makes it a comfortable watch and helps to avoid articular sprains even in case of fall.

Toponi Officer

A homage to the great story of the Officer watches, named as such because in endowment to the officers of the military.

These watches distinguished themselves for the distinctive back case with opening door. Officers were usual to utilize such watches because, inside the door, they could hide small folded notes containing commissions or the battle orders. The Toponi Officer was born as an aviation watch, reason why it is conceived with an offset dial, in order to facilitate the reading of the time during flight so that the pilot would not have to detach the hands from the cloche.

The Phosphor Marine Bronze selected by TCM is a special alloy without Nickel, a material usually present in common bronze, which causes allergies and irritations. The Bronze, with the passing of time, will experience slight oxidation phenomenons giving the watch a vintage look which will vary according to the person’s chemistry.

Toponi Officer – Oro

The gold version of The Toponi Officer is limited to 25 pieces. Inside the back case, the series number is engraved in arabic numerals while, on the side of the case, on a white gold plaque, it is in roman numerals. Roman numerals are being used because, in some aviation departments, squadron leaders were given the chance to distinguish themselves by using roman, instead of arabic numerals, to indicate their department number.

Tazzoli - The Oceanic

Launched in october 1935, the Tazzoli enters in service on the 18th of april with the Spanish war. Subsequently, under the command of Carlo Fecia di Cossato, also known as the “Corsair of the Atlantic”, it becomes one of the symbols of World War II.

The crown, other strength of the watch, presents a piston which recalls the shape of a torpedo of the famous submarine. A unique model limited series to 88 pieces, it’s not producible, for, such was the total number of historic movements. The watch features a series number engraved on a plaque on the side of the case.
