G-Shock like case for series 5 and 4

Love my new SupCase Rugged Protective Case. I bought it on Amazon. I have a large wrist and hands, usually I wear a Casio GX56. A pretty big watch for most, but fits me very well. I’m a truck driver in the big brown truck everyone loves to see. I beat this watch up pretty good daily, and expose it to some severe weather for very long periods of time and so far so good. I also used the ArmorSuit MilitaryShield Screen Protector’s. The screen protector was easy to apply and has held up nicely. I only paid $28 for the case and a pack of 6 protectors pretty good deal.Name: 5FDA4D69-38E0-45B3-8430-E72A9FFB3DF6_1570038059141.jpeg

Aren't those cases going to make the watch too large for smaller wrists?

I have the Spidgen Rugger Armor case for when I'm out-doorsing, etc., with the Apple watch. Much the same concept. I also have the Armoursuit screen protector. Getting the Spidgen case on and off the watch is a tight and side-scraping affair and has lifted the corners of the Armoursuit enough that it's probably time to apply a new one. Good thing I bought a five pack.

Many years of ambidextrous watch wear have me well-trained to protect my primary (until recently only) watch regardless of the wrist it's on, but dual-wristing a conventional watch and an Apple watch these days, the Apple watch tends to take some hard knocks as my subconscious protects the main watch and ignores what the off arm is doing. Maybe in time it will become instinctual to protect them both, but in the meantime I wonder sometimes if I shouldn't leave the case on all the time.

Rather like a G-Shock, it ends up as the mu answer to a yes or no question.

Nice option for strength. Curious, how tight does it fit to the watch? Is it possible for any debris to enter between the case and the watch for possible scratching?

Got any pictures where we can actually see it? I.e., not in shadow, or covered by fur... ;)

Personally I like the cases from Catalyst (though I don't have one yet). The design looks interesting, materials look good and it adds 100m of WR capability.

    .

Definitely super tight fit. Nothing that could scratch it would fit behind it, wearing it in the rain wouldn’t even allow water behind it. Maybe some water after a heavy soaking, or sweat scum after a long time of use.

A few more. It would only allow me to do 4 pics at a time. I also like that the side dial/button is protected within the edge of the case so when you bend your wrist your hand doesn’t bump the button.

I honestly looked at that case as well and considered it before buying the Supcase. I agree it’s a very nice looking case, and looks more protective. I like the idea of the inner silicon waterproof case that wraps around the back. Probably would be great if your wearing it in a mud situation. I think I would have been 100% sold on the price if it had a built in screen protector. I think the Supcase for the money though is well equipped for very rugged work/play environments, and since owning it I haven’t found a situation where I wish I had more protection. I’m also a scuba diver, and personally I just have no need to take an Apple Watch down to any type of depth with me. Unless Apple comes out with an app for the watch to synchronize with a transmitter for my tank, and can track my dive profiles I’ll just be taking my dive computer to depth.
