Rolling eyes Useful 3d party app for AW2

I am curious what others are using. Ignoring any other fitness/health apps what do you use?

    - ESPN ScoreCenter
    - Slow Shutter (camera app for the phone; the companion app on the AW serves as a remote trigger)
    - News360 (news reader; gives more info than NYT, but not too much like the AP's app, and refreshes reliably)
    - RadarScope (weather radar)
    - Dark Sky (local weather; more detailed than stock Weather app, but still easy to use)
    - PCalc Lite (calculator)
    - Twitter (helps kill time while on the john)
    - Rules! (game)
    - Alien Invasion (old-school LCD-style game)
    - Kakao Talk
    - Slack
    - Clear (mainly used for shopping list)

I've got others installed but don't use them much (Bring!, HoursTracker, Nike Run Club, SkyView, etc). I have a lot of other compatible apps that I've tried for a bit and uninstalled.

Several different news reader apps, as an example, treat their AW apps very differently -- some show a photo and headline and nothing else, while a couple give the entire article. Giving no info makes the app hardly worth opening, while too much info makes it a pain. It's interesting to see how various developers decide what to do with a smartwatch.

    I'll add a tip --

Let the Watch app on the phone auto-install EVERY compatible app. Try them out for a few days, then see which ones you want to keep. You might be surprised which apps already have AW-compatible versions.

When I got mine, I think it installed four different camera apps. Tried them all, then uninstalled the ones which weren't any better than the stock Apple app.

Carrot weather is invaluable! Other than that I shy away from most apps. I sometimes use the Philips hue app. The Nest app would be more convenient if it didn't take so long to load. I really want Logitech to release a harmony app for the watch..

I realize it's an old thread, but if you're still interested:

Gymaholic - Tracks strength training sessions and saves it back to your iPhone, synchronizing with the Health app. It precludes the need to take your iphone with you to the gym to track your workout.

Overcast - Allows you to save podcasts directly to your apple watch in order to listen to them when your iphone is away.
