    2505 movement question

    Hi all

I have a 2505 power reserve movement about which I have two questions. I have removed the hands twice due to interference between them. I now have a sweep second hand with what I am guessing is the seconds (Fourth wheel?) pinion protruding from it. I used a proper puller to pull all 3 hands at once. Worked fine once, and on other movements. I'm sure this should not have come out with the hand. Is the seconds pinion a solid staff that goes into the seconds wheel in a hollow shaft, and can it be re inserted into the shaft? I know it's a cheap movement, easily replaceable, but I am trying to learn how to fix the problem, and prevent it from happening again. I'd kinda' like to know why it came out with the hand, too. Is there a technical sheet for the 2505? All I can find is the red engineering drawing, which isn't much help. Thanks, H

If there is a staff still in the second tube then the staff is broken off.
