Help find a stem for unknown movement (Rotary)

Hey guys. Please help me find a stem or to retrofit one for the rotary skeleton watch I found on eBay. It says Japan on the dial. No numbers on the movement nor the back case. Bought this as a lot for repair or restoration project. Am new to the field. Found watches and restoration of them very interesting and enjoyable for myself. At least put a picture of the stem or a similar movement i can find a stem replacement. Attached pictures of my actual watch and a similar watch Found in eBay. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried Esslinger.com ?? They have a lot of parts and you may find something that works. You could also check with local jewelers in the are that may have something in their parts box.

    Good luck!

To do a search I don't even have a slight clue on how the stem of this movement looks like. That's the main issue. If I could get a look at a picture it would help a lot. Thanks btw for your reply. Will check with my watch repairmen tomorrow.

    Now you discover the opposite

Trying to find an obscure part

Your watch has a crown on it, but guessing no stem or broken one

You would need to take it to a watchmaker as suggested as everything would need to be measured in order to see the diameter, length etc. of the stem required.

Probably going to cost more in time and money than the watch when brand new

I always suggest that if you want to do this. Buy a watch with parts that are readily available or can be easy to find if a parts supplier doesn't have in stock

Mine is made in HK and different movement. Not a Rotary model

There is a company, but not the same as the one when this model made, but you can email and ask.

    Hi there,

hopefully it helps if you know the calibre. Using the enhanced search in my movement archive picks precisely one out of nearly 11,000:

check this link - Chinese Mechanical Movements

I replaced by Rotary open heart movement from here. If you dont have a serial number, compare movement pictures and make a choice.

Just realized, this is a hand-wound vintage style watch. I doubt would be able to find the movement/stem combination online. You will have to go to a watch maker who might have spares and can try and find which stem winds it..

No, it's very simply. Roland has identified the movement as a Zaria 2009. You can find a lot of winding stems for this movement in ebay...
