    Fake or Genuine Seastar?

Hi, I am new to quality watches and am aware there are lots of fakes around.
I am interested in the attached and wondered how I can tell whether it is genuine.
    Thanks in Advance

The answer is it can be quite difficult, especially with a fairly recent release like the watch you show, as if there are fakes out there not many people have much experience in spotting them. As a rule you buy the seller not the watch, meaning it depends on how much faith you have in the seller, if you are dealing with an established watch retailer or an AD then the watch will as a rule be genuine.

based on photos, it looks genuine to me.. but i really have no reasoning behind that.

the rotor looks like tissot - is the word tissot printed on there?

It is from a private seller. Doesn't have a receipt so I will talk to him and see how genuine he seems.
There is certainly text stamped on the rotor.
