    Looking forward to 2020

I just spotted this teaser at the end of WatchPro magazine’s November 2019 interview with Mr. Akio Naito, Chairman and CEO of Grand Seiko Corporation of America:

“With momentum starting to build behind Grand Seiko in the United States and Britain, the timing could not be better for its big anniversary year in 2020, when the brand turns 60-years-old. Mr Naito will not spoil any surprises, but promises with customary understatement that, “A couple of interesting things are going to happen in 2020.”

    From: “Grand Seiko Rising”.

With things looking good on the G Shock front and now GS hinting at good thing to come it looks like I will like 2020 - my wallet not so much.

Thanks for sharing the article. I'm also looking forward to 2020, but there's already too many things from this year's 2019 release that I want including the SBGH269, SBGY003, and SBGA413. I need to find a way to stave off temptation to have enough funds for 2020.

How about this? It's an SBGA419. It's blue with a purplish tint to it.

    Thank You!

Of course you're correct about it being a limited run in Japan. I was just looking for an excuse to post up a picture of it again.

It would have been great to see a picture different from the 'covered in plastic' ones you posted some weeks ago.
It's a stunning watch for sure and sure hope you bought it to enjoy without plastic
