Do you all think the Breitling B-1 is a true pilots watch or

more a fashion pilot watch?? I don't know much about Breitling or its history. Please don't be mad at me, not trying to insult anyone.

Hi James - I owned one for a short time and used it in its intended role - I really enjoyed the digital functionality of the watch - very versatile and all very usable. The count-down bezel was also nice, but in the end, the way the watch was packaged was just too much for me - too big, too shiny, too much - slide rule, digital timers out your ears and all manner of other electronic impressiveness. I went back to basics after owning this watch and haven't looked back.

In answer to your question - it has some great features ( UTC, perpetual calendar, count-down bezel and more timers than you can shake a stick at ) but it is a bit 'blingy' IMHO and many of its features are redundant in a practical sense.

There is no doubt that it is an impressive watch though, and super accurate.
