Yes the Marathon on the lower left of the photo. I think it's the Marathon General Purpose Mechanical - some comparo photo's and thoughts would be great.

The GP quartz is similar to the CWC G-10 in that they are both 36mm field watches with sapphire.
Lots of little differences though. The GP Quartz has tritium tubes and indices, and also has a matte black dial with lots of depth. It has a date window at 4. The dial on the Marathon is a bit smaller. I measured 29mm vs 30mm on the CWC. I like the visual depth of the dial and raised markers. It gives the watch a higher end look.
The case is a bit unique. A steep slope up the side to the dial. Almost gives it a porthole shape. It’s a love it or hate it thing. I’m somewhere in the middle. The crown is larger on the GP Quartz, but it does not screwdown like the CWC.The lug to lug is a bit longer on the Marathon. I measured 44mm vs 42mm on the CWC. The Marathon also has drilled lugs and a narrower strap diameter. 16mm strap vs 18 on the CWC.
The Marathon sits a bit higher on the wrist, but I think the CWC looks a bit larger due to the larger dial width and the less busy dial layout. I have a 7inch wrist. I would say that if you have larger than a 7inch wrist, you may find the Marathon looking a bit small. I think a lot of that is due to the thinner strap too.
If I had to choose only one, it would be the CWC. I do like the uniqueness of the Marathon though. It’s mainly a fun watch to wear around the house for me. Very comfortable. I just like the marathon dials too, but I tire of the thick bezels. I’ve had 3 Tsars and I end up selling them every time because I find them too thick. With this GP Quartz, I get the same dial, without the thickness or bezel.
Parting group shot. Hope that mini comparison is what you were looking for Longstride....cheers.
Another outstanding review. Thanks for sharing.
