I ended up just having a buddy of mine from Colorado order it for me, can’t wait to get it! There’s been a lot of hate surrounding this model but I think it looks amazing.

I think if I was of a certain age this watch would have more appeal to me. But to me its just a shiny fitbit without the additional features. I think if Bulova used this design to enter the smartwatch market they would have a winner. I'd love this to have a heart monitor, or notify me if my wife, kids, or boss are calling.

But I get its appeal for those folks that remember the original back in the day.

I'm really excited for August. I'll probably go bother the local AD in June and see if I can get them to budge on the price and take a deposit.

I've been watching this thing since the news came out a while back. Being a child of the 80's the shape and layout of it was just too cool to resist. I just ordered the blue one as its such a nice combo. The red and gold is great too as it is very 70's. One needs a mustache and cigarette in hand wearing that one. The blue one just reminds me of 80's scifi high tech robot laser teleporter communicator countdown timer detonator sensor James Bond MacGyver Knight Rider tech. And a great middle finger to smart watches (which are not watches).

I'm one of those people, even had an LED gold-tone Seiko back in the day. I for one find these as appealing as bell bottoms, leisure suits or polyester disco shirts.

I get the allure/attraction to it due to it's uniqueness but for this guy it's a very hard pass.

Re: Bulova Computron now available for sale!

Well, on the Website I got to in Switzerland, there is no Computron listed as model yet.

Just under "Basleworld 2019", there is an announcement "New introductions. ... available this fall".

I was a long time looking for a vintage one. But considering the prices asked (and paid) in comparison to the conditions seen (plaqué gold worn, scratched...) and possibility of mal-functions due to age, I will definitely go for a golden new one in the original design (no blue led!). Especially as the price is with around US$ 400.00+ (read somewhere) definitely going to be attractive.

    So let's wait...

FYI, the gold and black versions can be added to your cart on the Bulova site. I don't know if it works as I'm still three months out on the budget.
