I went for the red one, for under $80. It has the same chrono movement, same as the Moon Watch, I believe, so no smooth sweep (which the 3-handers do have). Accurate and wears fairly small, smaller than the Moon Watch.

I'm assuming that they mean the central chronograph seconds hand ticks in 1 second intervals rather than smoothly sweeping around rather like a mechanical watch (as some Bulova quartz movements do).

No. The seconds hand at 6 o'clock ticks. If I'm not mistaken, it ticks faster than a standard Quartz. The central chronograph seconds hand sweeps like an automatic, but is much smoother at 262kHz

I purchased a chronograph model for $99.00 and actually like the watch, looks very sharp. The second hand at 6:00 o'clock does not bother me at all. When you press chrono the sweeping hand is nice at 262 kHz. Really smooth sweep.

    I just ordered this watch.
I'm not a "gold" guy but this looks so good and with a classic look that will work great with a suit IMO.
Any own it or know of a review?

I recently bought it and was not sure how I felt about it. I actually took it off the bracelet it put it on a brown leather nato and like it even more.

I think it's their precisionist movement, right, so not quite a standard quartz. I've had very good timekeeping indeed with my Lunar Pilot.
