    Mystery Bulova

I was given this watch a number of years ago, and Iím trying to identify it. The date code indicates a 1990ish production, but after searching, Iíve found no info on the model.

Iíd like to insert the spare link in the band, but am missing the connecting pin (Iím sure getting another one is out of the question). The band seems to be particular to this design, so itís probably out of the question to replace it with another type. Iíd appreciate any info on it, I think itís a very elegant design.

A good local watch repair shop may have something in the parts drawers.

Can you remove one of the other pins to see what you need? If it's just a cotter pin, it should be possible to just order a replacement (I'm assuming you have the extra link, and just need the pin).

The pin looks as if it might be unique for this band.

Edit: if only because of the color, but I would easily accept another color.

Because 1990's quartz dress watches are not really collected I'm not surprised that you haven't gotten a response. You could try Bulova. Or a local watch seller that's been in the business long enough to have stacks of catalogs.
