Hi. I am the proud new owner on a vintage Carvelle 666 diver! I have been after one of these for about 2 years now and finally found the right one. I have not even recieved it yet but it supposed to be running alright. I honeslty dont even know how many winds to give it daily. Having no idea to the service history of the watch I would love to have it serviced and new gaskets to make sure its safe around water (not for diving). Not interested in any polishing or dial work as it is already arsthetically perfect to me. I have other vintage watches but no Bulova/Caravelle so I wanted to come here first for some advice from the people would really know from experience. I emailed Bulova service but (no surprise) they dont service these watches. Can anyone advise me on a good watchmaker for the service and what can I expect for end result. Thanks in advanced for your help!
