Another Watch Deal of the Day site.

    I just discovered http://watch.1saleaday.com/.

I've ordered a watch from their non-watch affiliate before.

Today they have the Akribos XXIV 'Quasar' Men's Dual Time Watch Mineral Crystal Water Resistant + Gift Case for $29.99 + $4.99 Shipping.

I hope they have some nice deals!

Gotta be careful with that site. Some of the deals are amazing and others

I ordered 4 mini-tripods from them for $0 and shipping was $7.99 which was ok. Then the next time I saw a deal it was for USB card readers (55-in-1 models) for $0 - yeah but shipping was $6.99 EACH - which is about what you can find them for at WalMart on a good day.

I didn't order this one. Doesn't seem like a bad deal though.

I ordered a heart monitor watch from them and it's great.

My staff often videotape their work for supervision and with the new Sony Cameras that do really quite good video too a small tripod like these becomes actually a functional tool rather than a conversation piece that's used once a year for Christmas photos

I like the look of the Akribos despite the probably-maligned brand due to TV-shopping connection. But I'm trying to stick with mechanicals for now...

but your watch you ordered is still a watch, so it might be worth seeing!

I'll try to post a pic soon. I'm thinking of just hunkering down and photographing all of my watches. It'll be a project but probably useful.

    "retail price = $395"

its a nice watch, and a good price for what they have it for, but why say somethuing stupid like "retails for $395" as if they ever sold one for that much. Its like me paying $400 for my miyota invicta... (which i love BTW)

Today they have the Pulsar Men's Dress Chronograph Water Resistant Watch PF8177 for $34.98. I think it's a nice deal but I'm on the fence. I'm asking myself the question in my sig. ;)
