Got my Dick Legrand yesterday (blue one) and here's some early impressions and thoughts.
Comes i a semi nice box, not a luxurious one but considering i didn't expect any box at all it was a pleasant surprise.
Watch case is of good quality with a nice weight to it. Bezel rotates smoothly and the sapphire coated insert gives a nice premium feeling.
3 straps/bracelets were included. Steel, sailcloth strap (blue) and rubber band (blue).
The steel bracelet has a rather "dressy" feel to it, which i personally don't like very much as i like the more "tooly" bracelets (think oris/Chr ward divers). The quality leaves a Little bit more to ask imo, its not bad but it's not good either. I will probably replace it later on for a brushed one with higher quality.
Sailcloth strap is nice, not swept off my feet but a nice alternative to have.
Rubber band is really soft and nice, i like it alot, and the Dick looks good with rubber! Although as somone already pointed out, i miss the clasp a bit, but buckle is of nice quality.

Overall i'm pleased with my purchase, and with a better steel bracelet it could be a really great watch!

$269? I hope they don't go the way of Deaumar watches. They released lovely looking watches, that were just too cheap. I think it left them so out of pocket, they couldn't even release a second watch, although they had a keen market.

Would love to see pics of the blue one!

I dont know what RL's plans are after the kickstarter project. My watch was numbered 17/161 so not sure if they will make a version available for retail purchase or not. A shame if not, its a good watch for the money!

Anyone find an after market bracelet with curved lugs that fit the watch?
