Blue Dial, Steel Bezel Chrono or Diver?

In my younger and more vulnerable years, I owned this very nice little Swatch:

It had the most beautiful blue face I had ever seen. Now I'm about to order this humble quartz piece again, because I really like the combination of (busy) blue dial / steel bezel.

But then I thought, hang on, maybe there is a similar watch of the
automatic persuasion that I should be throwing my money at. And so I turn to you, f71. What's out there, say, in the <€1000 range?

To give you a clearer idea of my idea, a blue dial only is not enough. It has be automatic, has to have an steel or steel color bezel (turning or fixed doesn't matter) with stuff on it, be it minutes (diver) or a tachymeter (chrono). The bezel cannot be dark: it has to be steel or another similarly colored metal. If we can keep it under or around 40mm, that would be great as well.

Now, I know of some non-affordable options:

And something like this would work as well:

But what did I miss in the more affordable range?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Tissot PRS200 Blue? $300 - $400

    Swiss? Check.
    Blue dial? Check.
    Steel, rotating bezel? Check.
    Chronograph? Check.
40mm? Hell no, but who cares! Just look at the damn thing and tell me that's not a beauty. ;)

Revue Thommen Airspeed. ETA/Valjoux 7750 automatic. It is in your price range (about $1300 on GM in US) and can be found on sale for less than $700 at times. No marked bezel but has the tachymetre on the chapter ring. I fear the biggest problem is that it isn't a sunburst blue but is matte. I will say it is a very lovely color of blue and looks great with the brown strap. I also own an electric blue Seamaster like in your photo and it is fantastic if you can find one in your price range.

For smaller wrists, there is a very affordable Seiko 5 SNKD99K1. It is 36mm but a beauty. Had one before I got into this hobby and it was great. Gave it to friend ages ago

I'm a f71 poster, I have only this one to offer.....

    Timex Chronograph with blue dial.
Bought it used on Ebay. ~$75 shipped. I like it a lot, find it unique with the sunburst blue dial.

    Screw-down crown

    Bracelet

    Lume

38mm case without crown, not too bad for a small watch. Keeps great time and everything lines up nicely.

That's very nice indeed, but I should have mentioned the dial shouldn't be too matte (nor too military!). Would love to find a nice condition used SMP indeed!

That's indeed the kind of dial / bezel I'm talking about! But I should have maybe also mentioned rather no Seiko (nothing against the brand, but I have the Turtle already and am trying to adopt sort of a "one watch per brand" sort of thing...)

I'm being rather difficult I'm afraid! But thanks for the suggestions fellas, anxious to see others as well!

Fan-tas-tic dial but guys I'm after an automatic for this one, otherwise I'll stay with my beloved Swatch!

There's the Deaumar Ensign, which has a beautiful blue face. A few potential problems:
    - 42mm, so a bit above your preferred range
    - The dial is a bit dark, but catches the light nicely
    - They're out of business, so only available used now, typically for under $200

Ahhh... that makes it a bit harder, especially under $1K. Lemme see...

Bulova AccuSwiss? Automatic chronograph, sapphire, blue dial, tachymeter on dial but 42mm and no dive bezel.
