The Brotherhood of Submariner Homages (a/k/a BSHT) (Part 24)

Well, here we are. BSHT Part 24. We're glad you made the hike with us over the hills and though the woods to the new campsite. Now count those around you, and if someone appears to be missing, please send me a PM, and I can send back a couple of our best to scout for the stragglers. With any luck we'll be able to locate them before the cougars and bears show up and turn their plump bodies into piles of... Oh, I get queasy just thinking about it.

And just remember to keep your eyes open for D-Lo. If and when he shows up, just keep in mind that he may have gotten into a patch of those funny mushrooms I hear are all the rage right now.

And now for required leagalize and the fine print and such.

Our in-house legal counsel, Saturnine, has provided me with the following official "BSHT Disclaimer of Liability." By reading and/or posting in this thread, you are implicitly agreeing to the following terms:

"I, the reader, fully understand and acknowledge that there are risks and dangers associated with participation in the BSHT watch exhibitionism and tomfoolery which could result in nausea, profuse sweating, severe dizziness, wrist rashes, wrist hair removal, wrist voyeurism, falling over backwards, intoxicated ebay purchases, changes in sexual ability, difficulty urinating, widened pupils, vision changes (such as seeing rainbows or auras around watches), fits of uncontrollable laughter while at work, vomit that looks like coffee grounds, constipation, extreme mood swings, dry mouth, bankruptcy, dismemberment, paralysis and death. There may be other risks not known to us or not reasonably foreseeable at this time. The social and economic losses and/or damages to me, my family and others, which could result from these risks and dangers described above, could be severe.

By reading the posts of the Brotherhood, I fully assume the dangers and risks, and agree to use my best judgment while engaging in forum activities. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasee, including, but not limited to, post author, the author’s family and estate, the Brotherhood of Submariner Homages (BSH), its members individually and its officers, agents and volunteers and employees (hereafter, collectively referred to as the "Brominati").

I hereby certify that I am of legal age and competent to execute this Waiver and Assumption of Risk, that in doing so of my own free will and accord, voluntarily and without duress imposed by Lifetrekker, and that I do so intending to bind myself, my executor, my heirs, and Justadad to the fullest extent."

    Let the tomfoolery resume.

    Long Live the BSHT!

Here's my $55 grab from the 'Zon. I actually like it quite a bit. My first Invicta and Subesque watch.

Doc leave that Santa Fe here for me? Anyone seen it? Well, until it shows up, this'll have to do...

    In for the jump.

Some basic rules. No wait, we don't do well with rules. Suggestions? No, too soft.

Code of conduct? That has a nice ring to it.
    1. Don't be a dick.
    2. If you've had a rough day and left your sense of humour in your other pants, don't spread negativity. Leave that crap in the public forum. Basically, see #1.
    3. Pictures. Lots of them.
    4. More pictures.
    5. Lots of respect. There are covert things happening behind the scenes and while we all came here for the watches, we stay for the camaraderie and shenaniganising.
    6. A well (or poorly) inserted TWSS remark is always appreciated.
    7. Lastly, see #1. Don't be a dick.
