It gives a white linen look that I'm kinda into. Again, better from arm's length but still fun.

Duck Tape, brilliant. How did you get printing to work on the tape itself?

I'd assume it's water slide paper on top of the duck tape.

I was thinking about the same, ordered glow-in-the-dark vinyl yesterday, water glide paper for inkjet and laser is in the post already. A brass sheet arrived already.

And a brushed Brass dial I'm playing with.
I'm really just entertaining myself at this point. :)

That looks awesome!...Is there anything duct tape can't do?
The full face lume looks like a linen dial - amazing
Very cool. Thank you for sharing :)

I will did the printing on the decal paper. Several layers of clear lacqeur (SP?) And slid the decal on top.

Gotta love the old seikos. This one has yet to be serviced if you want to believe the inside of the case back. I do have a 67 sportsmatic that I know wasn't serviced till it was 43 years old. The one I posted would be a completely different watch with a new crystal. When I got it you couldn't even read Seiko on the dial.
