    Gift Citizen Bullhead

I pulled the trigger on this tonight, I couldn't resist! I have wanted a bullhead chrono since going to Pocono raceway when I was a kid in the early 70's, I always thought they were the coolest looking watch.

    Cheers,
    Griff

A package from Singapore arrived yesterday. Sadly, it was addressed to my wife. However, I happen to know what's in it! Sadly, I think I'm gonna hafta wait 'til Father's Day to git it... O|

    Thanks Guys!

Ever since I saw your green one Cotty, I have been "green" with envy :-D

I have been doing searches for them on and off and found the silver dial at a buy it now and couldn't resist! I was amazed at the condition, and the seller has good feedback. Trouble is, I just rearranged my cases to fit the 2 divers I just snagged!

    Cheers,
    Griff

They are not easy to find with all original parts, I don't think mine is all original. There may be someone on the Seiko & Citizen forum who knows of a good seller with originals. I haven't pursued more Citizen auto chronos because they are so small. It is a great movement though.

    Hi GRIFF !!!

I'm also a big fan of BullHeads...it's one of my fave case designs....I hope Citizen /Seiko can bring 'em back.
I remember seeing a couple of eBAY listings last year...mostly the sellers of these Citizen bullheads are located in either HK, Singapore, or Manila. But, then again, you'll be running into the franken minefield. I'm just wondering if there are any other watchbrands (aside from Citizen/Seiko) that produced bullheads back in the 70s/80s.

    Griff, first congrats!

Second, whether it's all original or not, it looks great and whoever resurrected it did a good job with at least matching the hands etc. It's a beauty and it's another vintage model I hope to have one of these days. I've placed myself on restriction from even browsing eBay or the for sale forum. I am currently awaiting the arrival of an Orsa Sea Viper I never should have purchased but couldn't resist. So I know that feeling :)
