Yeah, I managed to contact Dan and ask about the new line- up ......

He has five new designs, and he plans to release them at 3-monthly intervals.

He mentioned that he has a new 40mm diver ( non compressor style) also coming next year, and yes, a 41mm version of the 1970 as well !!! That is great news !

All his non chrono watches will be automatics.

Point to note, Dan said all his watches are built to last, and that he is completely nuts about quality !

BTW, just in case you are wondering ..... Dan is Brazilian.

    Regards,

Thanks for updating us phlabrooy. I may have to hang out for the 41mm 1970 - but it'll be hard to resist the urge to get the current one.

If only he changed the name on the new models as well. These are so nice, but the name.... I would never hear the end of it if my brother saw me wearing a Dan Henry.

There was no annoying kid named Richard Mille in my brothers class when we were kids.
On the other hand, there was a Dan Henry

Got my 1970 today. Overall, I am pleased. It works on my 6.75" wrist. A little disappointed that the crown is push/pull. I am not a big fan of the strap. I think I will look for something different.

sadly the chrono second hand did not reset to 0 but I just pulled out the crown and manually set it to 0.

Thanks for the pictures. Would you mind taking some more for us? Perhaps on the wrist but side on so we can see how it sits and how high it looks.
Why don't you like the strap. Is it the style or the quality?

I think it was a little of both. The strap is really lightweight, and it is trying to be something it is not with the style. The keeper is way over the top. I was able to scrounge up a 24mm Hirsch liberty, And I think it looks much better. Could just be me though.

Is this what you wanted? I stink at taking pics.

    With a strap change.
