After wading through all 15 pages, I ordered the silver 1963.

I wish there was a sterile dial option or "Dan Henry" was simplified to a more minimalist "DH" but I'm happy with my purchase. The price seems like good value for money and overall, I love the design and vibe.

Looking forward to checking it out in the metal.

I fought the desire to buy a 1963 and won. Yay I hear you shout but I only won by ordering a 1970. Unfortunately if I like the 1970 when it lands I can see me ordering a 1963 to keep it company.

    Lume really looks great !

BTW it is interesting that you chose to show the lume shot together with a Seiko Solar Chrono diver ......

I was actually thinking the size of the 1970 would be similar to that Seiko, as the diameter and L2L is about the same !

I have that particular Seiko, and size wise it's OK ...... so I think maybe I could pull off the size of the 1970 too ..... ???

Or, shall I wait for the smaller 41mm version ?????

Could you please post a side-by-side comparison pic of your 1970 and the Seiko Solar Chrono diver ?

    TIA.

    Regards,

Sterile would be ok - but they look too plain and generic for my liking and remind me of Parnis watches. And initials are too trendy these days…

A nice logo would have suited it really well.

One with an aviation theme relating to the case back would work for me.

What are your impressions, after having the 1970 for awhile, now ?
