Fashion to wear a watch and a bracelet on the same arm?

I have seen a few people flashing their watches side-by-side with a bracelet on the wrist. In some situations it looks good. Is it still only for surfer dudes to do so, or is it becoming fashion?

Show me your own or others examples of watches worn alongside a bracelet, I need inspiration!

I wear a bracelet on the opposite wrist so maybe my post is of no use but I think it really comes down the watch "type" the person is wearing if a bracelet looks good with it on the same wrist. I have tried it on the same wrist and it drives me crazy.

This one as been with me for almost 4 months, it has a very special meaning to me.
I'm lefty so both watch and strap are on my right wrist.

Bracelet may scratch the watch, that reduces the resale value. I wear my watches in a ziploc bag wrapped with 25 layers of duct tape. Now just need to find a way to read time under that.

On the OP, my watches are mostly heavy, and I wearing them gives me balance (feels weird without one). But having one wrist naked and another full with bracelets, is inorganic and badly balanced IMO.

well, to be honest, i love wearing a bracelet on the same wrist, i think its really easy to pull of.
and I dont really care what other thinks.
i think the only key is to match the styling of your bracelet and the styling of the watch ( rule of thumbs) dont put a silicone bracelet next to a orient bambino :P...
but next to a diver, like the orange monster, Why not

ps: the color dont need to be the same, i just think that the overall (style) have to be the same
but then again, that's just my opinion, and i'm far from having a master's in fashion :P

You have the right idea, and your English is fine. I conciously choose my bracelet wrist based on the style of watch. Most of the time it's on the other wrist. If it's a dive watch, yes, it makes me feel like a surfer dude (and I like it).

Actually I wear my watch on my right wrist (my dominant hand) and wear the bracelets (usually the rubber thing) on my left

I do wear my rubber bracelet on the left if I wear my watch on the left as well to prevent the crown guard from digging onto the back of my hand (I like to wear my watch a bit loose because of the heat and humidity)

I like how this guy does it, go big or go home, on both the watch and the number of bracelets.

I have had the same piece of leather "string" on my left wrist for the last 15 years, and only started wearing watches again in the last 6 months, and wearing a watch on my right arm feels awkward (coincidently I am right handed, in that I write and throw with my right hand, but my left hand is maybe dominant, in that I eat, brush my teeth, smoke, hold cup/drink, phone, etc)

so for me it is "luck", not fashion...

You can wear them any way you like.

I have a huge variety of NATO and other bands and bracelets and 90% the time wear my watches with a bracelet but its up to you how you like to wear them and the size and style of the watch you will wear the bracelet with
