ISO - my search continues for an affordable red analogue watch

My search continues for an affordable, 39-42mm case, analogue, stainless steel, red dial, round watch with arabic or roman numerals. Something that really attracts my eye and makes me want to stare at the watch over and over. What did I leave out? Seems like this should be more possible than it is. By affordable, I meant $150 or less. Now, I may have a little more room to go up another hundred or so for the right watch.

Seems like nothing I have seen lately has been able to come close to my $15 red infantry watch. But these things aren't built to last, I am sure.

Is there an affordable custom option? Any other suggestions?

Show me a good red watch, and I will show you a watch without the numerals on the dial that I want.

Price should be ballpark and you might have to hunt some of these down.

That "Infantry" looks like a classic field watch. Bertucci does custom field watches with arabic numerals. I don't know if red is always available in every model that you like, but there are 2 red dial models in the bargain bin, for $119 (nylon ZULU) and $139 (Horween leather).

If you're willing to go with titanium instead of stainless steel and are willing to accept fixed lugs the crimson dialed Bertucci A-2T might interest you. Here is mine:

That hand set looks awful, way to short. They would drive me crazy.
