    The latest project!

This is a cheap quartz wall clock that I rather like. Wifey however says the loud tick drives her nuts. Strange woman! Now then, on the bay you can buy diy kits that contain a no tick quartz movement and a choice of hand styles for very very little money. I just have to measure the spindle length to order. Can't wait.

Sent from my house to your house using whatsisname.

I never really thought about DIY projects for watches that go on the wall. Cool idea. I might be able to justify a new project like that to the misses since it's for the house.

Well it was either fit a quiet movement or ditch the clock which would be a shame as it's an old country design. The movement is now on order. £2.50 and £2.50 post.
    Now the wait................

I would totally be on board for a nice mantel or bedside clock!

Speaking of mantels, that's a lovely photo of you on the mantel, demag!

Also: I just noticed that the clock has a sweeping second hand and a sub-second at 6. What gives?

You have to pay big for sweep AND sub Luke.

Actually what looks like a sub is a thermometer!

The photo is my grand daughter. Age 6 attitude 26! I keep telling my daughter she's having a touch of her own treatment now but she insists she was never THAT bad!
