Would a "collector" of Parnis watches be viewed as roughly equivalent to a collector of Invicta watches?

I own one Parnis GMT, the watch is what it is... A chinese Rolex homage. It has recieved several compliments for non-watches collectors.

But I am not very happy with it, has a slightly misalligned dial, and I have to regulate it because it is gaining about +40 s/d.

And, of course, I am not planning in collect Parnis... One is more than enough.

Do yourself a favor and save you sheckles, buy a micro or take a good look at the Seiko catalog much more value there than in Parnis or Invicta.

They are fine for what they cost. And some are actually very impressive such as their Daytona mecaquartz models. A Seiko that costs the same is not going to be better value.

Low quality and not worth your time or money.

I've had a couple, and they were good for the price. Straps and bracelets were a little subpar, but if you're comparing them to something 5 times the price it's hard to complain.

I have had good luck with the couple I have purchased. Both were Daytona homages with Seiko movements so that puts the quality at least on par with Invicta. I found the bracelets very nice with the exception of the clasps.

I think it really depends on the type of watch you are interested in and the supplier you choose.

I may pick up one or two items from Ali-express but that is about it. The Parnis chrono with the Seiko movement seems decent from the videos I've seen.

I still occasionally wear my Peugots, Relics and so forth that I bought 20 years ago before I knew any better as beaters or in the case of the Peugot when I wear tight french cuffs that need a watch under 10mm.
