While the England football squad prepare for the World Cup in sunny Portugal, lifestyle brand Police Watches is launching its first television campaign next week focusing on the upcoming World Cup by promoting Police eyewear’s recent signing of brand ambassador Brazilian footballing superstar Neymar Jnr.
The campaign will feature five watches from the brand’s latest collection and will air predominantly during peak viewing time slots on ITV and E4.
The ads will coincide with Police’s summer promotion which will see scratch cards included with every UK watch purchase throughout June and July. Hundreds of unique experiences will be up for grabs including the opportunity to drive a Ferrari, helicopter flying and the main prize which is the opportunity to meet footballing superstar Neymar Jnr in Barcelona.
The winner of the main prize will be flown out to Barcelona, where he or she will be introduced to the Barcelona FC team and travel in style with them to an away game to watch them play.
A supporting campaign on digital screens across key city centre locations will also screen the television advertisement in June as well as selected press advertising.
Julie Halford, brand marketing manager for Police Watches said: “Police is really going for it this year and we’re so excited to be running TV advertising solely for watches in conjunction with the buzz of Neymar Jnr and the World Cup."
Shot by globally renowned fashion photographer, Rankin, the new Police campaign portrays Neymar Jr in a number of minimalist shots with an urban finish; enhancing the charismatic style of the talented Brazilian footballer.
