this makes no sense. a re-issue timex, from a company well known for its quartz movements.
but if that’s all it takes to lose you, i’m delighted.

Agree, where's that distinct vertical wave pattern like seen in the OP image? Can it only be seen in certain lighting or angles or is the dial just solid blue?

Got the watch today. It's a real looker, but there are a number of issues for me.

The bracelet can only be adjusted so far because it tapers. This means that, at the tightest point, it's still way too large for me. I couldn't figure out how to adjust the day mechanism. According to the booklet, you can just go on Timex's website and look at the manual. But their website doesn't have a manual for this watch that I could find. I'm going to send it back.

Also: The package was surprisingly heavy. The majority of the weight is simply the box. The watch itself feels really light. That's not a complaint on my part, I like light watches. But why in the world is the box so needlessly heavy?

What are the odds they kept the setting instructions of the original?

Since it is probably the same module as in the Q pepsi, you would simply rotate through the time to set the day. The date has a quick set functiin, but the day does not.

Nope. That would make sense, as other day-date watches I've owned work that way. But I tried this and nothing.

That's kind of ridiculous, to be honest.

This is alarming for me, what is your wrist size?

Admittedly, pretty small. About 15.5 to 16 cm.

I read they use the Hattori / Seiko PC33 module.
