    Q Timex falcon eye

Im not surprised to see that Timex has gone back into its historical catalogue and issued another Q Timex. This was likeley to happen based on their website structure and massive popularity of the Q timex.

The Q Timex falcon eye ticks a lot of the same boxes, 38mm, quartz, and a similar bracelet as before. At 179 Euro these will probably sell like hot cakes.

The blue dial and beveled edges on the case look quite interesting to me. I'm looking forward to reading reviews on this one from other people.Name: TW2T80800.jpg

That Pepsi and Batman Qs really didn't do anything for me, but this one falcon eye tickles my fancy. Intriguing watch. Thanks for sharing!

Looks like a very traditional Seiko Quartz of that era...I like it.

Are they using the same movement as the previous Q?

It has the same battery hatch and price point, so I would assume so.

I used to have one of the originals as I used to collect the vintage Q's maybe 5-6 years ago. The dial pattern is pretty interesting. They pretty much nailed it here (once again).
You can still find original Q's on the bay and elsewhere if you want the real thing. The main difference of course is the movement. Back then they were quartz controlled balance wheel movements 49,152 Hz, 3 beats per second.

Take a look at the dial shots in the promo video on the page linked to below. It looks a lot better than the still photos.

I noticed in the video that the crown is coloured blue, but in the product pictures it doesn't show any colour on the crown. It's not a big deal, but a small difference from the video anyway.
