    Slide rule bezel models

I recently picked up a Seiko Flightmaster to learn about/play around with/try out a slide rule bezel.

    I think it’s pretty neat/fun.

Albeit admittedly gimmicky in this day and age. (I suppose the same could be said for our hobby as a whole! Whatever.)

So besides the Seiko Flightmaster, Citizen Nighthawk/Skyhawk line/Blue Angels line, and then the big jump to the Breitling Navitimer, what else cool is out there? Are any micros experimenting in this sphere?

(I only own the flighty so the other reference shots aren’t mine.)

    Seiko SNA411 “Flightmaster”:

Some of the Timex IQ series did them as external bezels.

The compass bezel watches might be right up your alley too...

I had an Alpinist a year or two back.

I liked it, but ultimately wasn’t in love with it.

    Re: Slide rule bezel models

As Chill has illustrated the Sinn 903 is a sort of half way house between affordable and the rather high cost of a Navitimer. If you ask me the 903 is not only a good bit cheaper than the Breitling but it's a nicer watch too.

I have had a few, notably the Nighthawks, and I loved them. Why the past tense, then? My eyesight has deteriorated to the point that the slide rule bezel has become a cruel joke.
