    Tissell watches.

Thoughts on these watches. Yes I know they are Knock -offs, but I am wondering about the quality of the build and the lume.

    Thanks.

They ship watches with visible defects and make you return a watch for service that never should have shipped in the first place.

Also other QC problems stop me from ordering, being in the U.S. and having to deal with returns to S. Korea sounded li,e to big of a hassle.

Many people love the watches but I chose to pass.

Most people who have owned them seem to have liked them. Myself included.

If you search the site you'll find plenty of info like here https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url...8&share_type=t
%99 of people do not notice or care whats on your wrist. All that matters is that YOU like what you see.

    Re: Tissell watches.

    I must be lucky.

My first Tisell Sub Black Marine Dive, Nov 2015.

My second Tisell Sub Green 'Hulk' Marine Dive, Jan 2016.

My third Tisell Sub 'Kermit' no date Marine Diver, Jun 2016.

My fourth Tisell Vintage Red Submersible, Jul 2017.

My fifth Tisell Vintage Red Submersible, Jul 2017. (Yup, I love the first one so much that I ordered the second one within the next 24 hrs.)

My sixth Tisell Flieger Type A 40 mm, Apr 2018.

Though I sold my 1st and 5th Tisell last year due to a purging exercise last year, none of them ever failed on me during my ownership. Of course, for the asking price, quality might not match some people's expectations. Imho, Tisell watches are the best value watches ever, especially the Submersible.

In fact, I didn't wear my 'Kermit' for more than a year till today. My local WIS friend just complimented it when I met up with him just a few hours ago.

    Here is my 'Kermit' today.

I do agree sometimes it's a matter of luck. So I must be very lucky with Tisell watches.

Btw, why do some people spell "Tisell" as "Tissell"?

I have a Bauhaus. I think it's a great watch for $199. No lume, so I can't comment on that.

    Re: Tissell watches.

I just posted in the Flieger thread about how impressed I am with the accuracy of my 40mm Type A.

    For me,
    Pros:
    Value for price.
    Accuracy +3sec/48hrs
    Delivery speed
    Looks, love the blued hands
Easy to read, simple uncluttered dial, true to the Flieger style.

    Cons:
Stock strap (not pictured) is not the best
    AR is non-existent
I wish the dial were 'more black', seems almost charcoal to me
Lume is weak, starts ok fades quickly (lume is 'fun' but not real important for me)
It makes me want to spend 5 times or more $ for a Laco or Stowa
Rotor is noisy (tho it doesn't bother me)

Overall I'm happy with mine, for $209 shipped it's a very acceptable, nice looking, accurate timekeeper. Hope this helps.
