Here are some pics of my recently acquired ALPHA PILOT TITANIUM
It's a rather strange watch, which you can call "military" or "pilot watch".
I'm not sure it has been inspired from an existing model
Anyway, here it is.
It's a big watch (44mm diameter) but very LIGHT (thanks to Titanium, which feels warm on the wrist)
It's what ALPHA calls "multifunctions".
It looks like a chrono, but you know, it's not
(don't get me wrong, I know what I buy, Alpha doesn't try to make you think it's a chrono)
The pusher at 2 o'clock is for the month (dial à 12) and it's a very advanced technology used there, called "FingerTouch™" which means you only have to push with your finger once a month to get the arrow moving (because when we went from September to October, nothing occured on the dial
Now, the pusher at 4 o'clock allows you to change the MAIN FEATURE of this watch, we now take a look at the 9h dial (I was really wondering what was that dial until I received the watch)
THE YEAR Oooooooooh yeah
This magnificient info is brought to you by this (almost) magical two-info dial (two different years marked at one place), again with the newly developped "FingerTouch™" technology
Man, I really love those "multifunctions"
Anyway, I really like the look of this watch (yes, I know, I like strange watches) and Titanium is new to me, so I'm really pleased in the end.
