Brand "Perpetual" out of Hong Kong?

Has anyone dealt with a chinese brand out of Hong Kong calling themselves Perpetual?

They make a lot of bold claims and have some interesting pieces and some affordable prices.

Good Chinese Mechanical Watches/Direct From Hong Kong Workshop/$140

Alternately some suggestions on a good, affordable and interesting Chinese ( and proud of it - no Stuhrling or Invicta or similar) brands and models?

Looking for bang for buck and distinctly Chinese in some regard.

Sea-Gull and Beijing are quality watches. Shanghai might be worth a look as well.

    Thanks for the suggestions

I found a Seagull US site from other posts in this section of the forum. From the wiki I have discovered the Shanghai site, but it is all chinese, so I'm not sure what I'm looking at. The Beijing site is a little better. Both of these list numbers in the bottom corner that I am assuming is a price. IS it chinese yuan or US dollars? Seems kinda pricey or VER pricey either way.

Try Good-Stuffs.com for Beijing and Sea-Gull watches. I purchased my Shanghai from there and had no problems. My impression (which could be wrong) is that Shanghai watches are a step down from Beijing and Sea-Gulls. I don't own a Beijing, but they seem to have good products from what I've read here. I have two Sea-Gulls and have no complaints about either. I hope this helps.

Edit: I don't have any experience with Perpetual, although I remember reading some threads here that were positive.

Shanghai offer a variety of price/finish levels, haven't worked out some of it yet but their higher models can stand a direct comparison to the big boys

Agree the works site is iffy to say the least, however their tmall site is pretty good

Noticed that the 'skycat' sites sometimes are more expensive and only seem to list the newer models

I've had some good experiences with them, this review shares my sentiments:

I personally would definitely recommend one! Alex (the owner) is a pleasure to deal with. I am currently waiting for the regulator R-01 to come back in stock, which is apparently going to be August.

I have said it before and I will say it again.
I have purchased three watches from PerpetuaL in the past and I had the opportunity to meet Alex in person.
I will without a hint of hesitation buy more watches from PerpetuaL in the next 12 months, if Alex allows me
You can't go wrong with PerpetuaL, at least based on my personal experience.
