only problem is that the 38mm is too small and the 42mm too large.

Does the 38 wear bigger? I was considering the green for my first auto chrono but I'm not sure about the size

Bund strap is enough to deceive the eyes

I have both 38mm x1 and 42mm x2 and adore them all equally.

The 38 is the perfect size. It really is NOT too small. Maybe it wears bigger or looks bigger, but it definitely is not too small. I am finding now (after I got back into the watch hobby as I was out of it for a few years) that even 40mm is pushing the large envelope for me w/ most watches.

Quick shots when I'm alone at home just now. It would be hard to explain to lady of the house why my wrist is wrapped in inch tape in bathroom like I'm preparing to inject myself with heroin

    cottontop and Ipse like this.

This watch in pic is 38mm :) I may share 42mm tomorrow after work hours since I'm already in bed...or other soul can chip in with a wrist shot

Although, HKed managed to achive balanced look in his 42mm version, using dial design as tool. Just look at this beautiful silver version.
