    Cheap Mechanical Movement

First time poster here, and I have a question for all you knowledgeable wrist watch folk. What is a decent, but inexpensive Chinese mechanical movement that will fit in a 42-44mm pilot style case? I have found quite a few movements, but none of them are bigger than 11 ligne.

Any of the 6497/98 clones would be candidates. They are basically pocket watch movements.

PB gave you a spot on answer already, and afaik Basically any movement will fit any case as long as they are on the smaller size compared to the case depending on the ring to hold the movt in the case.
