Google words like "aliexpress 100m watch automatic." Happy shopping.

For more info, you might want to check out the AliExpress thread in the affordables forum.

I'm only a week in from my sharkey ship date. Another one or two weeks and hopefully it will be on wrist. The green one is what I chose. Bought a couple straps to go with it too so I'm curious as to which will arrive first. Lately, I've been getting my packages a few days before any useful tracking updates beyond the standard label created beginning.

Are there any in this category, Chinese affordable automatics, that have been pressure tested for 200m or more? Those would be great value watches

There are a few, but really an Invicta Pro Diver with an NH35A is a better deal ($55-$60 on a sale), and a Vostok Amphibian is probably safer for diving. It also matters what you mean by "affordable". There are San Martin, Merkur, Sharkey/Heindahl and Parnis divers, all over $90.

Epoch also makes and affordable, 200m tritium diver for under $300.

To me , affordable is around $250-$300. And are any of them pressure tested and certified?

Do you consider US$260 to be affordable? That is the price I paid on Single's Day (November 11) for a Sea-Gull Ocean Star. The "DIVER'S 200M" on the dial supposedly is not a case of false advertising. According to Kevin Ke (of EOL Outlet on AliExpress), Sea-Gull doesn't just do batch sampling for these watches, they pressure test every one, just as is required by ISO 6425 to be able to put "DIVER'S 200M" on the dial of your watch.

I believe it, not just because of my trust in EOL Outlet, but also because at least one forum member, seagullfan, has taken another Sea-Gull diver scuba diving, the Sea-Gull Dragon King. That watch DIDN'T have "DIVER'S 200M" on the dial, just "200M", but it still held up in actual usage:

    https://forums.watchuseek.com/f72/re...ng-739870.html

I'd like to add that recreational divers generally don't dive below 40 metres in real life because of the lengthy decompression or special equipment that would be required. I assume you want 200M as a sign of quality, not because you actually need to dive to 200 metres...

There have been cheaper alternatives mentioned above, but I'm a fan of the Sea-Gull brand and not into homage watches regardless of how much of a bargain they are (e.g. the Invicta Pro Diver). I've been very happy with my Ocean Star:

A Speedmaster-esque case with a Planet Ocean dial and bezel, but with "Submariner" on the dial. I am confused.
