Parnis Power Reserve Seconds Dial hand not in sync with minutes hand

Got my first Parnis 43mm Power Reserve couple days ago. Beautiful watch with accurate time-keeping so far. However the seconds hand sometimes moves irregularly or no movement at all, but the minutes hand can still keep time accurately with the computer time. it seems like the seconds dial hand at 6 o'clock is totally not in sync with the watch movement, and not affect the time-keeping at all. Does it only have an aesthetic decoration function and no mechanical function at all? Any inputs from Parnis owners here?

If sometimes the seconds hand has no movement at all there could be something loose inside, in some movement the small second dial is driven by an extra wheel.

As long as the minutes hand is in sync with the hour hand I wouldn't worry too much, it's just aesthetic.

Thanks for your suggestion. I'll keep an eye on it for couple more days and decide if I need replace it with the seller. It's really a pain to go through the international shipping process.

It's too bad you are having issues with it, it is an attractive looking watch.
