Quick question about the twin crown 2012 project watch

Hi, I recently acquired one of your twin-crown 2012 watches from a member who has had "banned" added under his screen name and who hasn't been very responsive throughout the whole sale.

Is the setting crown supposed to screw down? Mine doesn't, and there doesn't seem to be enough play in the crown in terms of pushing it in and locking it down. Nice watch either way, but I'm curious and I can't find the answer to my question by poring through the threads.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mr.Boots

Re: Quick question about the twin crown 2012 project watch

I don't have the 2012 watch, but so far as I can recall it uses a stock Sea-Gull dual-crown 5ATM case which does not have screw-down crowns. If there are no threads visible when the crown is in the setting position then it is a fair bet that it does not screw down. Also, with a dual-crown case both crowns or neither should screw down.

Hopefully somebody who really knows what they are talking about will comment.
