Wow, that's a bargain indeed! Here's hoping the lucky winner is an f72 member so we can see even more of it!

I notice an 8-digit serial number on the caseback, do we know anything about these? Any chance the initial '73' refers to a year of manufacture? The timing seems plausible, that's about the midpoint between the SS2 being introduced and the Tongji appearing. On the other hand, these were military issue only, right? Might be an officer's own serial number?

How many others here are lucky enough to own one of these?

Yeah, and I'd planned on at least trying, and got side-tracked at work

I'm thrilled for whoever got it, and I hope they fully realize what they have now.

    Hi AT
I don't know that much about the Chinese watches so would appreciate it if you could explain "what they have".
I know market price is what someone pays for it but possibly what is meant that someone who knows what it's really worth.
What would the forum consider was a realistic price?
    Thanks

Even though the lume is in rough shape, I'd expected a price at least double, and I wouldn't at all have been surprised with bids over well $1000.00. In good shape, the same model commands well over $2000.00.
